Karaoke Box venues in Soho and Smithfield
Our
newest venue, Karaoke Box Smithfield opened on 22nd
November 2007. The new venue has many new features like an island bar
with lots of space to chill out, with 15 rooms and an exclusive VIP
Room. The venue is set right
opposite the historic Smithfield Meat Market with many trendy bars and restaurants
to complement your evening with us. We even have state-of-the-art virtual
golf in the neighbourhood!
We have barrier-free access for disabled people, including
a lift for wheelchairs.
It's the place people who work in the City have been crying out for - as
well as everyone else in London, of course! Open from midday, the new venue
has fully serviced waitress and waiters to serve the individual rooms,
and is open until 1am Monday to Wednesday and open until 3am Thursday
to Saturday.
Established
in February 1997, Karaoke Box Soho was previously a Japanese
restaurant (not a brothel, according to local urban legend!). Owned by a Japanese
chef, he loved singing so much he turned his own restaurant into private karaoke
rooms, and never looked back.
Set in Soho's laid-back Frith Street, with six rooms to choose
from and without a bar to get in the way, it's a cozy, welcoming place for office
workers to unwind - and for everyone else to just party! Recent council restrictions
have required us to close at midnight until early Spring 2007, when we hope
to be able to offer our usual late opening hours once again.
Our celebrity visitors include Kate Moss, Keith Richards,
Björk, Jude Law, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Johnny Vegas, Alex
James (Blur) and Joe Sumner (Fiction Plane).
Call us now for more information on either of these great venues, or to make
a booking.
